A charitable project, run by students, that helps injured workers understand workers’ comp and use it on their own.

01The problem

Each year, many workers hurt on the job miss deadlines or lose benefits they were owed, because they don’t know how the process works or can’t afford a lawyer.

02What we’re building

Plain-language educational resources that explain how workers’ comp works, and an online tool that helps workers keep track of their own deadlines and documents.

We focus on low-income and underserved workers, who are the least likely to have help.

03What it costs

Our core resources are free and open to anyone.

If we charge for anything, fees will be low, cover only our costs, and be waived for people who can’t afford them.

04What we don’t do

We don’t sell data, give individual legal advice or take part in lobbying or political activity.

05Where the money goes

All funds raised go toward our educational mission: hosting, accuracy review of our materials and community outreach.

None of it goes to anyone’s personal benefit.
